Week 3 – Day 4: Grame’s visit continued and yummy slow cooked stew!

Jess, Grame, Lily and I all got up at 6 am (no alarms were set) so we had plenty of morning cool and I took the opportunity to water the dry garden (it’s been very very humid – up to 90% relative humidity) but no rain so plants still drying out rapidly. Got some weeding in too, Jess prepped and got on our 9+ hour slow cooker beef stew for dinner, which I’m looking forward to, will be epic as usual from her! 🙂 Grame made us scrambled eggs just like I remember from growing up too – lovely. Today I’m lending my Mother my car (gulp!) to drive to shops and visit a friend while she’s up in town (she recently moved to the country).

Hope all are staying safe and healthy at this strange time in the global experience! May God bless us all.
