Month 2 – Week 6: Day 6

Its Valentine’s day tomorrow (the Feast of St. Valentine) who was a Catholic martyr in the 3rd century: much is not known with certainty or is disputed but the following source is reliable in its scholarship and clearly acknowledges the difficulties. https://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=159

St Valentine

Nonetheless Catholics and many others choose to celebrate romantic relationships and especially marriage at this time, as a loving husband and father, I can honestly say I would not experience the sense of fulfilment, love and gratitude that I have right now, without my darling wife Jessica, who gave us the wonderful gift of Lily Grace, our now 2 y/o who’s such a beauty and a lovely girl in her own right. I earnestly pray that in future years she might look back on posts from the early years of her life and appreciate more fully just how much we cherish her.
