During Lent Catholics are obliged to abstain from meats excluding fish on Fridays and my wife and I will keep this observance today by having meatless breakfast, lunch and dinner with granola, yoghurt, milk, cheese, tuna and pickle sandwiches and then dhal and rice for dinner. It is our hope that by being diligent and disciplined in this area it has spill-over benefits in other areas.
I pray that we and all practicing Christians can be an example to others by our lives lived well in service to our Lord Jesus and following His way – Amen
